Chocolate Lavender cupcakes soap

I had so much fun making this soap. It’s always wonderful when you can do what you love and be creative. At first I wanted to make the frosting purple but I think it looks really good just having brown on brown to represent the chocolate and it has lavender buds on top. When I tell you this soap smells absolutely wonderful, so hard not to actually eat it. 🙂

So this soap is made with Jojoba oil, Rice bran oil, Sunflower oil and caster oil. The scent a unique blend of French lavender with subtle hint of creamy milk chocolate, amber and jasmine. With these oil and the scent, all around makes a good soap. So let me know what you think of the soap and I’ll have more products soon.

Excited, New chapter in my life

Wow. I’m finally really done with school getting ready to take my MBLEx.
I’m really excited about the new chapter in my life. Becoming a massage therapist has been somethings really special in my life and I’m finally getting closer to accomplishing it. Is just so exciting. I’m going to open my own practice. I really want to send out my message as a massage therapist and showing people the benefits that you can receive in massage therapy. Also I’ll be able to get back to my soaping as those of you who know me I love to make soap, bath bombs and so on. So stay tuned there’s more to come.

What I been up to

Hi y’all

I been gone for sometime now, but I’ve been really busy with school. I’m finally finishing up doing my clinics in school and getting ready to take the MBLEx. I’m really excited to finish up but I’m also nervous about taking my test to be certified as a massage therapist. I can’t wait to get back to making soap. I’ve been so busy with working, school and studying. I didn’t realize how much I’ve missing doing my blogs but I really do miss them. lol but I’m really excited to start my career as a massage therapist deathly want to work in the spa world and be certified in reflexology. Eventually with any year two of practicing massage therapy I would like to go back to school to be an Esthetic. I have so many goals and I’m so excited that I’m starting to reach them. It just goes to show that you can reach whatever goal you want as long as you put your mind to it. 🙂

Well wish me luck on my MBLEx test and I’ll be back soon with some more blogs.

Orange Clove Candle

So I thought I show a short little blog with pictures on how I made my Orange Clover candle. I simply start with putting soy wax in my mason jar in double blowing it. Wait until it melts then start to cool it down then add my fragrance oil. Stirred it again until it’s clear and then pour it into my glass teacup. I think it turned out well I really liked it. I been making candles on the regular now so I’ll have more pictures and videos soon, until then check out these really cool photos.

Lavender Blue Mountain

Here with a new bath bomb. Lavender Blue Mountain.

The scent is Lavender & Eucalyptus Lemon essential oil. Made with dry lavender buds, Sunflower oil, Bentonite Clay and Dead Sea salt.

I really feel like this is a relaxing and soothing bath bomb. With the sunflower oil which is great for moisturizing the skin. Bentonite Clay is known for its ability to absorb and remove toxins, heavy metals, impurities, and chemicals.

Lavender essential oil is known for being a sleep aid also for relaxing and great for the skin.
Eucalyptus Lemon essential oil has a reviving and refreshing action that uplifts, yet is also calming to the mind. This essential oil also has be known to be use for colds , coughing, fever’s, flu and cold sores.

I really had a lot of fun making this bath bomb. Coming up with a new idea is always wonderful. When I use this bath bomb in my tub it was great. One of the best things about making bath bombs is getting to test your bath bomb. 🙂 The sent was very relaxing and up lifting, my skin was very moisturize and soft.

I will have this on my website soon so watch out for update until then check out my Instagram Facebook and YouTube.

My First Candle

I had lot of fun making this candle. I won’t lie I was a little scare that it would not come out right, but it did.
It was made with soy wax and for the scent: Litsea Cubeba essential oil. Litsea Cubeba as been use in china for lot of different medical reasons such as a promising anti-depressant for more than thousands of years in the Asian subcontinent, Litsea cubeba is remembered to treat anxiety, fear, fatigue, excessive perspiration, pain and stress.
It has lemon scented leaves and flowers. That produces a yellow-ish essential oil. This is essential oil has such an uplifting smell.
I give one to my mom for Christmas and when she put it in her room you could smell it through out the room before it was even lit.
I really enjoy make this candle I am planning to make a lot more so stay tuned.

Massage Therapy School update.

Well I’ve been in school for about a month now. And I have to say I love it. It’s hard going to work full-time and going to school at night. There are days when I do have to reminder myself why I am doing it. There are times when I’m like: I just want to stay in bed and sleep. But I get up and I do it because massage has always been a dream of mine.

I just finished my first mod and I’ve been able to give full body massages. So I find that very exciting.

Getting more into trigger points. Which is like finding knots or pressures in the tissue or muscle and slowly easing them out. I never knew there were so many different part to massage and it’s exciting to learn something new every time I go to school.

Still trying to make time to make soap and bath bombs which is a little hard. But when I can I still do it. So for the most part I’m really liking school and I hope to write more soon when I get the time. Oh and I use this picture because I just thought it would be so cool to get a massage there. It looks like a cave with stars on the ceiling. How cool is that?
